Who is Austin Desanto?

Born and raised in Exeter, Pennsylvania, Austin DeSanto began his wrestling career in high school, where he established himself as a formidable wrestler. In his freshman year, he posted an overall record of 29-7 and was ranked fourth in the nation. It was clear from the start that DeSanto was a rising star in the world of wrestling.

DeSanto's early success was only the beginning of his career. He then wrestled for the University of Iowa, where he continued to dominate the sport. DeSanto quickly made a name for himself as a fierce competitor and dynamic fighter. Austin DeSanto began his college wrestling career as a freshman for the Drexel Dragons in the 2017-2018 season. It can be difficult to capture a career-defining peak for a wrestler, but in the semifinals of the 2022 NCAA Division I tournament, DeSanto faced rival Roman Bravo-Young in a highly anticipated rematch. DeSanto finished his college wrestling career with an impressive 96-24 record and earned multiple All-American honors. He will continue to compete as a member of the Hawkeye Wrestling Club, where he will continue to hone his skills and compete at the highest level.

Injuries at Austin Landing

There isn't much information publicly available about the specific injuries Austin DeSanto sustained during his wrestling career. However, like many boxers, he likely suffered a variety of injuries, including cuts, bruises, sprains, strains, and more serious injuries such as fractures or torn ligaments.
