The ketogenic diet is too restrictive
Restrictions on the ketogenic diet are designed to avoid eating unhealthy foods. Just as a doctor would advise a patient to quit smoking to prolong life, I advise people on the ketogenic diet to limit their intake of foods that cause diabetes, organ damage, heart disease, fatigue, and many other undesirable physical conditions. And just like the patient who quits smoking, those on the ketogenic diet live happier, healthier lives.
Literature recommendations:When to eat during intermittent fasting
Stage 2 Three meals a day in eight
Once you're comfortable eating three meals a day, you can take your fat burning to the next level by implementing a 16-hour fasting SE pattern while eating all three meals within eight hours.
Ideally, wait four hours before eating your first meal. If you wake up at 6am, you would have breakfast at 10am. m., you would have lunch at 2 p.m. M. and then you would have your last meal of the day eight hours later at 6 p.m. M. .
With this 16:8 pattern, you'll burn more fat because you're giving your body more uninterrupted fasting.
No calories count on the keto diet
As you know, typical diets focus on counting calories. They say that you simply have to eat fewer calories than you burn and you will lose weight no matter where those calories come from. This is not only wrong, but also unhealthy.
If you look up the definition of food in the dictionary you will see why:
