Domino's is one of those brands that feels nostalgic. That's the pizza you ate when you were 12 years old.ºBirthday party while unwrapping presents for all your friends. It's that melted lava cake you ate at 3am after you got back from your first college party. It's the bits of parmesan bread you ate exclusively for a week after that really bad breakup.

But Domino's is more than its piping-hot pizzas, coma-inducing sugary desserts, and even its cheese-crusted carbs. The pizza chain has a line of wings that, perhaps surprisingly, are pretty decent. The wide range of options ensures there is something for everyone. However, not all of these flavors are created equal. Some are on the softer side while others are bold and exciting.

But if you didn't have a lot of themDomino Grip DealsIn fact, you may not know what you are getting yourself into. That's why we've put in the hard work of testing and evaluating all of the brand's wing options. Sure, you might like some of the tips at the top of this list. However, if you don't know what to order, start at the bottom to learn more about our favorites. here they are allDomino-Griffaromen, ranked from worst to best.

9. Twelve sleeve habanero

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (2)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

We really wanted to see the candy.Habanero-ZweigWings on the Domino's menu because we love a good combination of spicy, sweet and sour. But what we found when we ordered them was that the flavors were far from balanced. The syrupy sauce poured over the wings had a gooey texture that made us hesitant to take it at first. When we did and took a bite, we immediately realized that this wasn't what we were expecting. They don't really taste like mango per se, more of a vague sweetness without much flavor intensity. They seemed to be losing acidity, which is what we would expect from the mango flavor.

At least they have some warmth, right? Not quite. We were surprised at the complete lack of spiciness in this sauce. Habanero peppers are exceptionally hot, so we expected at least a touch of spiciness. Unfortunately it wasn't there. So if you're looking for something spicier, you'll likely be disappointed with this selection.

8. Honig-BBQ

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (3)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

We're not surprised that theHonig-Barbecue-Sauceit just wasn't. The very name of this flavor made it sound uncomfortably sweet, and it tasted just like it when we took our first bite. The wing itself was good, but the bubbles of ridiculously sugary topping on it made us feel like we were eating an odd chicken dessert instead of what should be more of an appetizer. Granted, the BBQ sauce wasn't necessarily bad, it was only intended for people who like a lot of sweetness when grilling. If you're not like that, you might want to skip this option the next time you order from Domino's.

If you want to add some interest to that flavor, dip the wings in the included ranch dressing is the way to go. It helps balance the palate and seems to reduce the sweetness of the barbecue sauce. But if you ask us, it's better to order one of the other flavors first. But then again, if you love sweet barbecues, this is probably your favorite of the bunch - the sugar profile is not for the faint of heart.

7. Garlic Parmesan

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (4)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

We were also looking forward to the garlic parmesan wings, and while we weren't exactly disappointed, we felt they could have been better. Firstly, if the sauce is poured over the wings, as we do, it is worth putting them in a separate container and shaking them. Otherwise, you'll end up with plenty of sauce instead of enjoying it more integrated with the chicken itself.

The dressing is not bad at all. However, the brand is definitely strong on parmesan and super light on garlic, so much so that the garlic is barely noticeable. This might be a nice move to accommodate those who don't like strong flavors, but it's a bit of a letdown for true garlic lovers.

(Video) What is the Best Fast Food PIZZA?? (Tier list - Dominos, Papa John's, Hungry Howie's...)

That being said, the sauce offers something very different than most other menu options. The creaminess is pretty good and probably won't cause severe heartburn in the early hours. Would we order the garlic parmesan flavor again? Probably, but only if we want to cater to guests with sensitive stomachs.

6. Sweet Roasted Bacon

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (5)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

Domino's "Special Chicken" options are basicallyboneless wings, and we love that the brand offers different flavors than what you'll find in their traditional wings. While some of the sauces are fantastic, others just aren't what we're looking for in a bone in the wing situation.

Unfortunately, the cute BBQ bacon chicken was our least favorite bunch. It really depended on the sauce. It's admittedly quite tasty, but like the mango habanero salsa, it's too sweet for a savory experience.

But that doesn't mean grilling with sweet bacon isn't delicious; In fact, adding bacon is great. Domino's cooked it until it was nice and crispy. Instead of having weird slices of meat soaked in the chicken's crispy skin, you're left with a crumbly coating that adds flavor and texture. This is the kind of dish you order once just to see what it is. We've definitely got the box ready, but it probably won't be our regular Domino order.

5. easy

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (6)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

Sometimes you need to keep things simple, and Domino's certainly doesn't do a bad job. Sure, you can always order the craziest pizza with the most toppings on the menu, but sometimes you just want a plain slice of cheese. And of course, you can always drizzle the wings with any of the sauces in the book, but what if you just want that nice, crispy, juicy bone-in chicken flavor?

Then you should order the simple wings at Domino's. Are these the best wings we've ever had in our lives? Not quite, but it's a high bar to aim for. Regardless, these wings will definitely not disappoint. The skin is perfect - the outside is perfectly crisp. Luckily, that crispiness doesn't come at the expense of the chicken's moisture. Every bite was super juicy but not greasy. All in all, these simple and straight forward wings are the perfect choice when you need some comfort in your life.

4. Classic hot buffalo

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (7)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

Next comes one of Domino's other chicken specialties. But this one's a little better than sweet BBQ bacon if you ask us. It's Domino's classic hot buffalo flavor and we're surprised at how much we love it. They're using the same boneless chicken bitesbuffalo saucewatered above. But then Domino's went one step further and added a small ranch to the equation. Even if you're not a farmer, don't worry, the amount of sauce you'll find in this dish is negligible. It adds just a little creamy texture to the rest of the meal and helps balance out the strong flavors of the buffalo sauce.

If you're like us, you've experienced it for the first time.chicken wingtopped with buffalo sauce, and if you're a fan of that classic flavor then you're sure to like this offering. While we were skeptical about how good boneless bites would be, we found that they actually rival bone-in wings when it comes to texture and juiciness - they weren't dry at all. And because they're easy to pick up and bite into, they're perfect for sharing with family and friends. (We won't judge you if you want to keep them all to yourself.)

3. Spicy Jalapeño Pineapple

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (8)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

If you ask us, Domino's Sweet Mango Habanero Wings just didn't make it. However, the brand saved this sweet and spicy combination with the addition of their specialty Pineapple Jalapeno Spicy Chicken. Probably because he used jalapenos instead of a full-flavored sauce to add a spicy element to this dish. Because these jalapenos are cooked, they're not extremely spicy, so don't worry if that worries you. (Though admittedly we think the wings would probably be even better if Domino's added fresh or pickled jalapenos.)

The brand downplayed the pineapple in this dish, for which we'll be forever grateful. There was just enough fruit to keep things fresh and tart and add a slight sweetness to the finished product. The result was well balanced, especially with the hint of melted cheese over everything else. It looked fun and indulgent, but also very filling - eating a portion of these wings could probably be a meal for many people.

If you're looking for a more spicy option and the other wing flavors just don't seem to work for you, the Spicy Jalapeno Pineapple is probably what you want to order.

2. Crispy Bacon and Tomato

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (9)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

We weren't too keen on trying the crispy bacon and tomato wings. Because how complex can these flavors be? It might seem like a random combination that wouldn't be interesting together, but this particular chicken offering was surprisingly a favorite with our group.

First the chicken was cooked to perfection as was the bacon which had a delicious crisp that made every bite delicious. The tomatoes on top have a nice sweetness but mostly add strong, salty flavors. You also get a lot of cheese on the chicken when you order this dish, but we thought it was the perfect amount, especially since it paired so well with the bacon and tomato.

This dish is neither spicy nor does it contain any particularly interesting or exciting ingredients. But sometimes the simplest of ingredients can be combined to create a truly delicious meal, and Domino's specialty, Crispy Tomato Chicken with Bacon, unexpectedly falls into that camp. This is something we would add to our order each week. While you can always get it on your pizza, it can also be a fun, indulgent lunch on a day when you need a little oomph.

1. Caliente

Ranking of all Domino's Wings flavors from worst to best - tasting chart (10)

Samantha Maxwell/Tasting Chart

Finally, we come to the last flavor on the Domino's chicken menu and our favorite of the bunch. It's the hot wings, and we're not surprised they turned out as good as they look on the website. They're smothered in that buffalo sauce we all know and love, and they've got a bit of pizzazz. However, you have to keep in mind that these are far from the best wings you will ever try. In fact, they would probably be labeled "mild" in most grocery chains and restaurants. But that doesn't mean they're tasteless; They're a great choice for anyone who loves spices but can't handle really sharp wings sometimes.

This is an easy Domino's recipe, but if we want wings, the brand's Buffalo Wing version hits the spot. This lovely orange sauce coats each piece of chicken perfectly, allowing each bite to deliver a hint of acidity and a complex enough flavor profile. Who says you need unbearable heat to make a good brim? We love it when chains know how to keep things simple, and it looks like Domino's has done just that. We are big fans.
